War Cemetery in Adamczowice - a historic cemetery from the First World War in the municipality of KlimontĂłw, in the district of Sandomierz. Entered in the register of monuments: register no .: 566/93. The cemetery is located near the KlimontĂłw-Koprzywnica route. It has a shape similar to a rectangle measuring about 22 mx 30 m and an area of about 700 m. The whole area is surrounded by an earth embankment and planted with trees. There are 18 massive and 12 individual graves in the cemetery. A total of 146 soldiers who died in World War I during the fighting in the vicinity at the turn of 1914/1915 were buried at the cemetery: * 45 Austrian soldiers, * 101 soldiers of the tsar's army. There are still remains of a stone monument in the cemetery. It is probably a pedestal on which a wooden cross was placed.
