History

It was created in mid-1945 with the formation of the local parish. It originally had an area of 2.76 ha . He was consecrated on March 24, 1946 . At the cemetery there are graves of 125 soldiers of the Polish Army who died in the area during the defense of Warsaw as part of the September campaign, Warsaw insurgents and Pawiak prisoners murdered in the area. Of the burial victims buried in mass graves, only 11 people are recognized. In 1970, a chapel was erected at the cemetery. The cemetery has a shape similar to a rectangle. It was enlarged several times (in 1980 by 2 ha, in 1983 by 1.16 ha, in 1991 by 1.5 ha and in 1992 by 1.17 ha) . The necropolis has two gates on the side of ul. Dyeing. [source: Wikipedia, 2281056]
